Terms of Service

Print Sales

  1. Please allow 14 days for delivery of your order.

  2. Print purchases shall not be refunded if the Customer ordered the incorrect size. These products are made to order, and are completely bespoke. Therefore, they cannot be returned to the print lab if the incorrect size is ordered. Please ensure you have measured your intended hanging space and accounted for 3-5 inches for the frame and mount on top of the size of the print.

  3. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you have 30 calendar days to return your item from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it. You must clearly state your reason for a return in communication with Ross Davidson. All return requests shall be reviewed at the discretion of Ross Davidson and the print lab that he uses for production. Refunds may be refused if your rationale for returns are inappropriate.

  4. If your return request is approved, the original payment method shall be refunded with the full amount. The time taken for a refund to be processed will vary depending upon your issuer.

  5. The Customer shall will be responsible for paying the shipping fees to return the item if you have requested a refund.

Workshops and Tours

  1. A non-refundable deposit is required upon the booking of all group workshops and private 1-2-1 sessions (unless otherwise stated). Refunds will only be issued in the event that Ross Davidson cancels the workshop himself, or upon his discretion, due to his own personal illness or other circumstances beyond his control prior to commencement of the workshop.

  2. Any cancellation by the Client must be made within 14 days of the purchase date to receive a refund. Any cancellations after this period shall be offered the opportunity to reschedule for an alternative date. If any alternative date cannot be agreed, or if the Client cancels a subsequent date, then the workshop shall be cancelled and a refund shall not be issued.

  3. Ross Davidson accepts no liability or responsibility for Clients that are unable to attend due to illness, flight cancellations, family emergencies or other circumstances. It is advised that appropriate insurance is sought to mitigate these eventualities, particularly when booking onto the more expensive multi-day workshops.

  4. In the event that Ross Davidson must cancel a workshop himself, a full refund shall be issued for the workshop fee only. Any transportation, accommodation or insurance fees that have been incurred by the Client shall not be reimbursed. Ross Davidson shall endeavour to provide advanced notice of any cancellations. However, in the event of adverse weather, or any other similar mitigating circumstances, Ross shall aim to reschedule workshops to an alternative date to suit the Client.

  5. Due to the susceptibility of photography workshops to weather and other factors, workshop itineraries may differ to those described in advertisement or promotional materials and descriptions of the events. Ross Davidson shall endeavour to plan workshops appropriately to the prevailing weather, to provide the best experience for the Client.

  6. Ross Davidson does not accept any liability or responsibility for death, bodily injury or illness incurred by Clients during the tenure of a workshop with Ross Davidson, unless otherwise caused by the negligent acts of Ross Davidson. Due to the inherent risk associated with journeying into mountainous and other outdoor environments, participants in all workshops must sign a waiver prior to commencement and participation in any of Ross Davidson’s photography workshops. Ross Davidson retains the right to refuse participation of any Clients who refuse to agree and sign this waiver prior to commencement of a workshop. Ross Davidson shall not issue refunds for Clients that refuse to comply with this term of service. All claims shall be subject to English Law with regard to liability or quantum, and all proceedings shall be within the exclusive domain of the English Courts of Law.

  7. Ross Davidson does not accept liability for any loss or additional expense to the Client caused by the delay or interruption to travel services through weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, strikes, wars, floods or sickness. Such losses or additional expenses are the responsibility of the Client.

  8. As the Client and participant in a workshop, it is your full responsibility to ensure that you, your belongings and your equipment are adequately insured against injury and accident, accidental damage, loss, and theft, for the duration of the workshop.

  9. The Client hereby accepts sole responsibility for ensuring that they have adequate insurance cover for medical and accidental risks before, during and after the workshop. This insurance should cover the Client in the event of medical rescue and/or repatriation costs (in the case of accident or illness). All personal belongings (luggage) and equipment remain the sole responsibility of the Client at all times during the workshop.

  10. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that they take respond appropriately to all instructions and/or advice given by Ross Davidson for the duration of the workshop, for the safety of themselves, Ross Davidson and the group (when applicable). Should the Client decide to move to any locations or take any route to a location of their own choosing, or move away from close proximity to where Ross Davidson is, they do so in their own independent and individual capacity and entirely at their own risk of injury, bodily harm or death. These eventualities will be deemed to be outside of the scope of the workshop and no longer a part of the workshop until such time as they return to within close proximity of Ross Davidson. Such proximity is identified as within ear-shot and eye-sight of Ross Davidson.

  11. By making a booking, the Client is agreeing to accept all of the aforementioned conditions.

Gift Vouchers

  1. Gift vouchers must be used within 12 months of the purchase date of the voucher. Please keep a record of the purchase date for your own personal reference. This shall also be typed onto the reverse of the gift voucher.

  2. To redeem the gift voucher, the customer must contact me directly (via email, social media, contact form etc) with the Password that has been typed onto the reverse of the voucher. This is to ensure legitimacy of the enquiry.

  3. Gift vouchers may be used to purchase any items from my Store, including: fine art prints, limited edition prints, calendars and photography tuition workshops. Items may be combined to the value of the gift voucher.
